Good afternoon Donna,
I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to touch base with you to give you an update on Mr. Tucker Pete!! :o) He is doing so amazingly well! I’m so proud of him!! He feels like he’s been part of the family for years already and I’ll have to say he’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a companion. He is always so full of joy and he’s just so great to be around. The first few day he didn’t make one accident in the house.. then of course the second Vince and I said something about it- he did it. LOL!!! It’s minimal but we have started crate training him and he’s done such a great job with it. I think he’s getting that peeing on the floor of the house is not so cool with us! Haha! He’s a quick learner that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to training with him this weekend. I wanted to give him time to adjust and get accustomed to our schedule and the house with the little ones as well.
Tucker is an indoor pup and loves it. Tucker Pete is truly a Maynard and absolutely gorgeous little man! His coat is amazing and he’s so great with his baths and grooming time. I can’t say enough-but thank you! Again, he’s just such a joy!!! He’s truly captured my heart and I can’t thank you enough for working with us and our schedule. We are so grateful for your understanding and patience. :o)
Take care,
Ava, Vince, Peyton, Kara and Isabella!

Wanted to update you on Miss Abril. She is doing WONDERFUL! It took a couple of days for her to settle in to our routine.
She wanted to get up at 4:00 a.m.---NOT. LOL. You would think that she has been here forever the way she is so content now.
I truly think she missed you for a couple of days my dear. You did a great job loving on her.
She now potties either on her papers in her bed, or outside. She is a smartie. Just had her first haircut yesterday.
Thought you would like to see her puppy cut.---- The other dogs love her too! many thanks again! Peggy&Larry |

Donna,
I just wanted to say thank you for making my mom so happy. She is like a little kid right now with Casey.
They are already starting to bond quite well.
I was so impressed with his quality and how he shipped so well, that I may be in contact with you for a parti carrier female. I have the traditional girls, I would like to get a parti carrier, or a parti girl, depending on what I can afford.
Here is a picture of my mom and Casey.
Thanks again for all of your help,
Steph |

Donna, I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to email you pics and a update on Chester. Pam tells me that you have asked about him and to email you. Kaylee named him Chester, she thought it sounded Yorkshire! lol He runs the house, and as you know I am keeping Grayson our 1 yr old grandson. Chester and Grayson are best friends, they share their food with each other, sleeps with each other, and Grayson loves to crawl in Chesters bed with him. We almost have him house broken, and we laugh everytime he has something he is wanting to hide, because he isn't very sneaky he whines while running around the house with whatever it is he has in his mouth to hide. Chester found Grayson's bubba teeth the other day, it was so funny but I wasn't fast enough to get a pic. We sure love him, he is like part of the family now. Sorry the pics aren't the best, I'll send better ones later. Thanks, Charla |

Donna,
It has almost been a year (this Valentines Day) since my husband purchased a Havanese from you. It was a total surprise, and a very happy one at that. I can’t imagine our lives without him. We named him Paco. He has such a great personality and everything that we have read about Havanese is true – he is very smart, always wants to please, loves to do tricks, and runs back and forth from room to room. I still just look at him everyday and find something special about him.
Thank you,

Donna, Sorry that I haven't gotten to update you on our puppy. Things have been really busy here and Molly is keeping me even more busy! She is a wonderful, energetic puppy, full of fun and games. She loves to chase a ball or toy and is even happier if she is being chased. She has learned how to get the cat to chase her and even plays with our children's dogs. They are bigger than her, but she doesn't care. She gets them excited so they chase her, and then she darts under the couch where they can't fit. She is very healthy and happy. She is six months old and weighs 7 pounds. She was easy to house train, and has graduated from puppy kindergarten at the Tulsa Dog Training Center (but she didn't like wearing her graduation hat). I am attaching a picture of her so you can see how she has grown. Have a wonderful Holiday, and thank you again for helping us find the perfect puppy.

Annie is a wonderful dog. We enjoy her so much the kids love her they play all the time. They do everything together. We had to shave her because she got a little matted but now her hair is back and we are taking well care of it this time brushing her every other day. Thank you so much for bringing such a wonderful little joy into our lives.

Donna,
I wanted to give you an update on Ezri. After long deliberation, his new name is Beans. Although we still call him Pup-Pup. His is adjusting well to our little family and is definitely being spoiled! He comes with us everywhere we go and loves to sit in my son's lap during the ride. He went to our vet on Thursday and she said all is well with him. We did take him to the groomer to get a trim so we could see his eyes. He looks so cute with his new cut! He is doing fantastic with his potty training, and has learned how to fetch. He has such a great personality and everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He loves meeting new animals and wags his tail when he hears or sees them. I'm including a few pictures of him for you. Thank you again for him, I couldn't have asked for a better puppy!
Thanks

Hi Donna,
I just want to let you know that the vet check went well and Zeva is doing great. We changed her name so it was short and sweet. She is actually coming along on the potty training quite well and already won the hearts of family and friends not to mention we are quite attached...
Thanks again, Allison |

Oh, Donna!
This is the best, cutest puppy in the universe. He's so sweet. He slept all the way from Oklahoma City to Portland. We stopped in Denver, but did not have to change planes. I gave him a little water in Denver. His case under the seat in front of me was right next to another little dog, a Maltese, in his own case. Neither of them made a sound.
Of course, he cries at night. I take him outside in case he has to go and then put him back in his crate. Then he cries. He misses you. It's only been two nights since he left his family and friends so he does get lonely. He doesn't cry all night. He's asleep right now. He was so happy this morning. He went to the trainer yesterday. She started teaching him to sit on command. I don't think he learned anything. Everything is just too new for him. He eats well. He enjoys the food you sent so we bought more. We're really impressed that you gave him such a big box of treats. We bought a brush and comb his hair. He doesn't get car sick. He's been to the bank once and to the trainer once.
Eden and I are both really happy with him. Sundance may be jealous. Last night he gave him his ball, but the puppy just ignored it.
He's got the best personality. He's calm and confident.
Thank you for breeding such a perfect puppy.
Love, Enid |

June 24, 2009 We made it home safe and sound. Sassy was so good in the car. As you can see she was a tired litle girl. I am suprised how she has settled in here at her new home. But, we haven't made it through the first night yet!!! She sure loves to cuddle. Several family members came over tonight to meet her. They all love her, of course. Will keep you informed. And again, thanks for bringing such an angel into our lives. Sassy had a great night. Slept all night till 5:00 am. She is doing good going potty outside. She has not cried at all. She has settled in so easily, she has amazed me. She went swimming/therapy this morning with Jon. Then she went by school to see the handicap students attending summer school. She just kisses and loves on everyone. I am so surprised for an 'only child' to be sooo social. She didn't stay too long, didn't want to tire her too much, but she had fun. Guess she will spend the afternoon playing and sleeping here at home. Will keep you informed of her progress. Thanks a million Wow, you are the best. It is so reassuring to know we purchased a puppy from someone who is so knowledgeable and loving. I have already given your name and website to several people. They love Sassy---how can you not love her!!!! I have an area out front that has pea gravel in it. She heads right for that and just kicks that rock everywhere. Just like a kid playing in the sand. She was sitting up on her hind legs and waving her front paws last night. Jon thought that was sooo cool. We all send hugs to you. Don, Shirley and Jon |
 |
JULY 18, 2009 Donna, Just an update on our adorable Sassy. She is growing like a weed. Up to 2.1 lbs!!! She is sooo entertaining. Sassy went to school to visit Jon's special needs friends. I don't know who had more fun, the kids or Sassy. It is so heart warming to see the smile on the kids faces. One child is an autistic boy with sensory problems. He does not like to touch or be touched. When I took his hand and placed it on Sassy, he had the biggest smile on his face. Sassy is magic, because she is so small, the kids are not scared. I have already inquired about having her trained as a therapy dog when she is old enough. We now know why she was put on this earth. She was placed here to bring companionship, smiles, and happiness to many, not just us. She may be small, but she has a giant personality. Once again, thank you for our little angel. She is a very happy puppy and doing great. Will keep you informed about our new mission in life. She will make us proud. Hugs Shirley, Don and Jon

MAY 13, 2009 Donna,
Thank you for the wonderful puppies! We took them to the vet today and everything was great! My grandma named the white one Chiquita (like the banana) and I named the black and white one Harlie (like so her full name is Harlie Davidson). I attached some pictures for you. One of them is Harlie with our other dog Pepper (who is a Border Collie). They are doing great and getting along with all the other dogs in our family (maybe the other dogs think they are their puppies).
Thanks, Sammie |

APRIL 24, 2009 Hi Donna, I just wanted to let you know that Gideon now Tug is doing great. We took him to the vet on 4/19/09 and she said he was in excellent shape very healthy. He is doing amazingly well with potty training. Everyone who see him just thinks he is the cutest thing they have ever seen. I have given your name to a few people along with the web site who may be interested. I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful addition to our family. Sincerely, Trenda & Jerry |

APRIL 22,2009 Hi Donna, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing us the newest member of our family. My daughter has named him Echo. He is such a sweetheart! Took him to the vet yesterday and he seems to be wonderful. We love him already. He is already responding to his name, and seems to be adjusting to his new family just fine. I will send you some pics in a month or so and let you see how he is growing. Thanks again, Tami |

April 12, 2009 Hi Donna, Just a quick note to tell you what a darling puppy Massa is. He is trying to get the hang of using the puppy box when indoors and still goes outdoors as well. He was eating and drinking as soon as we got home and acted as though he knew it was where he was going to live from the get go! We will go tomorrow hopefully to the vet for his vet check and then try for some pictures later this week to send you. Thanks for raising some great puppies! Mike and Lynn Payne |

I just wanted to say thank you so much for our beautiful new addition!!
I have never seen a dog bond with a human the way Mollie has bonded with Brittanee. She rode home the whole 2 1/2 hours from the airport on Britt's lap....She was a little quiet the first couple of days with the rest of us, but is now really coming around and greeting us when we get home. However, the sun shines just a little bit brighter when Britt walks through that door and Mollie realizes that her Mommy is home......She will run around Britt's feet and whine, until Britt gets down on the floor, then Mollie just jumps around and kisses her face and just goes crazy!! It is just so cute!!
Dealing with you was a pleasure, and you made our experience one we will look forward to again, when it is my time to get a puppy!! Even though we are in Florida, knowing someone who had bought 2 dogs previously and you answering all our questions, made our journey so much fun!! I have recommended you to several people who have seen Mollie and if you ever need a reference for someone so far out of state, please don't hesitate to call on me. It would be my pleasure!
Thank you again, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Hi Donna thought to update you that Zillah, whom we renamed to DONUT is doing well. She is now still very small and weighing 2.61lbs. Vet thinks she is going to remain very small, probably not going to be the 10lbs you estimated. So she is going to be our tiny Donut. She is a darling, seldom bark and eating well... she is very good when we bath her and groom her. I enjoy dolling her up with ribbons. This is her most recent picture that we took yesterday. crystal |

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how Abi is getting along. She is a firecracker. Everyone loves her, even my mom who is not a dog person. She weighs alost 4 lbs now and has lots and lots of personality. She loves to walk, play outside and she loves my granddaughters. Thank you so much for letting us adopt her. I tell everyone about your dogs.

November 1, 2008 Donna, Bailey just recently had his five month birthday. He is doing fine and weighs more than twelve pounds. We were wondering if you might have mistakenly sold us a Saint Bernard? The attached pictures are Bailey with our grandsons; he enjoys being with them more than with us although after a few hours with them he is ready for a nap. He sleeps more than eight hours at night if permitted. Comparing pictures of him at two months and five months shows a great change in coloring. He no longer has the blaze on his head and all the black on his back will probably be gone after he his groomed next week. We are happy at the change but hope he keeps some black on his face and ears. Ed and Lucille Leslie Oklahoma |

I've attached a few photos so you can see how big he's gotten.

Hi Donna, Just wanted you to know Bentley is absolutely wonderful. My girlfriend took pictures when we picked him up so I will try to get them to you. My little grandson who wasn't talking much has really been doing more meaningful talk. he says "come here". Uh oh and High five sounds more like high pie. Bentley is doing real well going to the door when he has to go potty and when we get him out he goes potty outside. It has been so hot here that he really likes being outside. His personality is absolutely perfect for us. My son brought his two boys over and met him and the whole family is smitten with him. My youngest son Adam saw Bentley and text is girlfriend and told her "Oh my gosh you have to see this cute puppy!!!" She came right over. Everything has been perfect!
Here are the pictures that I promised of Bentley and Ian. Ian has learned not to run up to Bentley. The first two days Ian (3yrs) would run up and make a loud noise and then gently stroke Bentley. Bentley was really good about it he didn't run but would casually get up and walk over to me. He never acted as though he was afraid. It took a few days for him to realized that there was a gentle stroke that came with the loud noise. So Ian hasn't done the noise any more he just does the gentle stroke. We just kept telling him he doesn't want to scare the puppy. I actually heard Ian say comeear Ian, meaning come here Ian and I think he was trying to get him to go with him. Yes, he ran the two words together so it sounded like comear. He is saying doggy but leaves out the G sound. We will just keep repeating things and I think it will click. I took Bentley to the vet Friday and the Vet wanted to know if we were going to show him, he says he has perfect confirmation and a great attitude. Bentley checked out 100% with a great bite and all. Thank you so much for this wonderful addition to our family.

AUGUST 15, 2008 Hi Donna, It has been a while and I want to let you know how things are going. Bentley is such a happy guy that he makes us laugh all the time. When he runs you can see the joy in his little self. His whole body just exudes happiness. He never gets stressed, upset, anything down, if he was a child he would be considered hyper but he is just HAPPY!!! He makes us happy. My husband comes home from work and Bentley gets right up on him and just wriggles his whole body with excitement. It is nice to feel that missed. Also he has this thing about having something hanging out of his mouth at all times. My husband says if he were a person he would have a stoggy hanging out of his mouth, I think it would be a pacifier LOL. In the morning when I let him out to go potty he has to grab his chew stick, bone, toy something because he just doesn't feel complete without it. He is curled up for his noon nap next to me on the arm of the couch while I write this. He is still little but has gotten big enough to get on the couch by himself. You know he has no fear. He will be on the couch and see something or someone he needs to be with right now he flies through the air off the couch to get there faster. Oh my gosh he launches himself 4 to 5 feet from the couch and across the floor, luckily it has carpet or he would slide all the way to the wall. Steve, my husband says he wants to fly. I told him he was probably a pilot in his previous life LOL. We have just been amazed that every where he goes it has to be fast and instant. Ian has been making incredible progress in the past few months. He is learning to count to five, he is peeing in the toilet, He is gaining more words and we can actually understand some of them. One of his favorites is baby that is what he calls Bentley and butterfly (which isn't real clear but he is so proud of himself when he says it). So life is going pretty well and Bentley is a true bright spot for us. Take care and thanks again. Cherrie |
 |
Oh my goodness, she is the cutest little thing i have ever
seen! well, besides my baby bear of course! she is doing so well -
adjusting and holding her own with baby bear. she is feisty for sure!
she is a little instigator and then when she gets bear all riled up, she runs to me
to protect her. she is too funny. but we love her of
course.
thanks again for all your help - i'm sending pictures shortly.

Hi Ms. Donna, Here's a pic I took of Horacio last week--- he's growing like a weed. This was right after a bath and his hair was "blowing in the wind". Since this pic was taken I have had to cut the hair around his eyes-- it's getting so long! He is doing wonderful and is very much the Havanese! Shawna July 5, 2007
Ms Donna, I just wanted to let you know how much we love our new baby!! He is the most precious thing--- our son is recovering from double knee surgery so he has to sit around a lot more than he would like right now. Can I tell you Horacio is right there beside him on the couch and he loves to sit at or on DJ's feet while he plays video games in the chair. On top of that my husband has also started spoiling him rotten by putting him in our bed! He is such a bundle of joy and has us in stitches laughing at his clowning around--- he thinks my ankles are teething rods and also loves to nibble on our toes. Since my shoes are the smallest in the house--they are the perfect size for him to steal and run off.
Again I want to thank you for allowing us to adopt the greatest puppy in the world. I have a feeling I will be getting another one in the near future for my mom--- she's in love also!

not get pictures to you sooner. We have named our new puppy
Cosmo. He is a little gremlin. As you can see, the kids
are very proud and love him a lot. I take him to the vet next

great and makes us laugh all the time. We feel very blessed
to have found him. Hope all is well

MERRY XMAS We wanted to let you know how much we love the puppy "Misi
Tilie". We are thankful the lady in Capitol Heights decided to sell
her. Whatever we paid, she is worth much more. She is a great
addition to our family and spoiled rotten. We take her everywhere
we go if possible. She is already completely house trained. We are
retired and have a lot of time to spend with her. I have given your
web site address to a lot of friends and people we meet at the pet
store. I don't believe we have a breeder in this area and there is
a lot of interest in Havanese. We met a lady that has 5, but she
ordered them from Cuba. Thanks again, Please keep in touch, The Windsor Family Clinton, Maryland |
Hi Donna: Sorry it took so long to get you pictures, our new baby has
kept us very busy. Well
lets see...first his new name is Seamus. We
had many in mind before we got him but my son met him and came up
with that name it does suit him! I have to tell you since his
arrival his has given us such pleasure every minute of every day! He is EVERYTHING I have read about a havanese! His clown behavior keeps us
laughing, then he snuggles up with one of us or one of his canine
brothers. That is something else...as I told you we have 2
other dogs a 119 lb Lab and a 18 lb Eskipoo. He
was so well socialized that from the minute he walked in he made
friends with both of them. I was afraid of how they would be
but he has won their hearts too!!! I have attached pics of all of them eating together, that was day
two! Donna, I could go on and on about him, so let me get to the
point. Seamus has been by far the
greatest gift, he is sweet, beautiful, funny, happy and
healthy. I have tons of pictures (just keep snapping thinking
every thing he does is
amazing) so I will attach the best and you can use what you
want. Please feel free to use us as a reference as this puppy
is by far the BEST! Oh and by the way, we have been puppy pad
training as it is so cold
here and with in one week he had pretty much has it down!!!!!! I
told you he is just amazing!!! :) I will stay in-touch, as my husband and I have talked about a
female down the road!!!!!! Thanks so very much again-you were also great in
this transaction!!! All the best, Michelle from NJ |
With so many breeders out there, it was the
personal feeling we received from you that made us purchase from
you. We see all the time you take for your customers, and that is a good
sign that our puppy was well taken care of before he comes to our
home. We will send pics soon of us (so you can finally meet
us) with the puppy next week some time.
FYI - I just purchased a Bears Football Jersey so "Bear" can wear
for our superbowl party. Just thought I would share that I am
originally from Chicago, so Bear will wear all Chicago sports
Jerseys during each sports season. That'll be his time with
"daddy Tim". lol.
Again, thank you for all your time and effort in helping us with
our puppy purchase.
We'll be in touch.

Hi
Donna, I just wanted to Thank you
again for allowing us to adopt “BoBo”. He is such a great joy to
have in our family. Everyone loves him and we constantly get
stopped so people can take a closer look at him. I was looking at your website
earlier today and saw you had updated the page and added my name to
it. =) My husband said he was a little sad his name didn’t
get added to the webpage...but he is joking. Take care and Thank you
again. Best

Hi Mrs. Nickel, This is Colby and Vicky. We bought
a puppy from you last week. We just wanted to thank you and tell
you how well Boomer is doing. When we flew home on Sunday, our
flight got cancelled so we had to switch airlines to Continental.
They allowed us to take Boomer in the Cabin with us, and he did so
well! He slept the whole way home. He got acclimated to my home in
Fort Myers and he is doing great!! He is already learning to
go up the stairs! We got him groomed before we left Oklahoma, so I am
sending you a picture of him. I get complements on him everywhere I
go, so I will be sure to refer people your way. Thanks, Colby and Vicky |

Merry Christmas Mrs. Nickel and family. Wanted to let you know how wonderful "Pal" is doing so
far. After a few days, I decided that "Rucker" was the appropriate
name for him. He's made the perfect companion for me and I
could not be more thankful for him! Rucker is an extremely happy
and healthy puppy! He's so loved and thank you for doing such a
wonderful job with your puppies! With love & prayer on Christmas Laura Steiner Knoxville, Tennesee |

Hello
Donna, I wanted to let you
know that Kona (Prince Konakai - registered name) is doing
great! I have an appt. for him at the Vet on Monday (weather
permitting). Kona is getting a
lot of love from our family. He is held constantly! He
really loves people. He is getting the hang of the potty
training too. He squeaks only a little at night when we put
him to bed. He is such a sweet blessing to us. I thought about
having a wedding ceremony for Kaili (our female) and Kona, but I
couldn't get a consensus! Our Chinese girl laughed about
Kaili getting a "younger man"! They are getting along
well. Kaili is very gentle too. Thank you very much
for letting us pick him out. You have a beautiful collection
of puppies and it was a tough decision. I think we made the
right one. I hope you and
your family (and babies!) stay safe and warm through the
storm. God bless you! Stephen and Jeanean Castle Guthrie,
